There are 4 different types of searches. A normal search in which; you must rapidly press RT and LT (xbox360) or R2 and L2(Ps3) to get the bolt (machine part). An item search ; you must slide your pointer over to the correct object (example:coin) and then select it. A search I call a lock search, you must twist the lock until it matches up with the bottom (there may be up to three locks for you to get through). There is a rock equipment item search, in this search; items spin around and you must press A on the rock equipment piece.
